Indication
- Hypertension (high blood pressure) - Management of diabetic nephropathy - Stroke risk reduction in hypertensive patients - Management of heart failure
Ingredients
- Losartan Potassium
Direction
Take orally once daily, usually at the same time each day. Can be taken with or without food.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- Fatigue
- Nasal congestion
- Low blood pressure
- High potassium levels
- Muscle cramps
Precautions
- Avoid use during pregnancy
- Monitor serum potassium levels
- Assess kidney function regularly
- Use caution with salt substitutes
- Risk of angioedema (allergic swelling)
