Indication
- Hypertension - Chronic stable angina - Vasospastic (Prinzmetal's) angina
Ingredients
- Amlodipine 5 mg
Direction
Usually one tablet (5 mg) once daily; the dose may be increased to 10 mg as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Ankle/leg swelling (edema)
- Headache
- dizziness
- Flushing
- Palpitations
- Fatigue
Precautions
- Use with caution in severe liver impairment
- Caution in severe aortic stenosis and heart failure
- May cause dizziness
- care when driving until response is known
- Monitor blood pressure regularly
