Indication

- Securing dressings, gauze and wound pads to the skin - Holding tubing or medical devices in place - General first-aid taping

Ingredients

• Silk surgical adhesive tape (no medicinal active ingredient)

Direction

Ensure the skin is clean and dry, then cut the required length and apply over the dressing or device. Remove gently to minimise skin trauma.

Side effects

• Possible skin irritation or redness under the tape
• Skin stripping or trauma on removal
• Rarely contact allergy to the adhesive

Precautions

• For external use on intact skin only
• Do not apply over infected or broken skin without medical advice
• Discontinue if skin irritation or adhesive allergy occurs
• Avoid applying too tightly to prevent circulation impairment
