Zyloric 100 mg

Indication

Treatment of gout and hyperuricaemia. Prevention of uric acid and calcium oxalate renal stones. Prevention of hyperuricaemia associated with cancer chemotherapy.

Ingredients

• Allopurinol 100 mg

Direction

Take orally after meals with a full glass of water. Adults: 100–300 mg/day as directed by physician.

Side effects

• Skin rash (discontinue if severe)
• Nausea
• Diarrhea
• Headache
• Drowsiness

Precautions

• Discontinue immediately if skin rash develops
• Ensure adequate fluid intake during treatment
• Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver disease
• Do not take during an acute gout attack
• Keep out of reach of children
