Indication
- Lower respiratory tract infections - Upper respiratory tract infections - Otitis media (middle ear infection) - Urinary tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Pharyngitis and tonsillitis
Ingredients
- Cefaclor
Direction
Take orally as prescribed, usually every 8 or 12 hours. Shake well if using the oral suspension and complete the full course of treatment.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea and vomiting
- Skin rash or itching
- Abdominal discomfort
- Vaginal yeast infection
Precautions
- Allergic reactions to cephalosporins
- Cross
- sensitivity with penicillin allergy
- Dosage adjustment for renal impairment
- Prolonged use may cause superinfection
