Poro 250 mg / 5 ml

Indication

For the relief of fever and mild to moderate pain in infants and children. Useful for cold-related fever and headache.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 250 mg per 5 ml

Direction

Oral. Children 1-5 years: 2.5-5 ml (1/2-1 teaspoon). Children 6-12 years: 5-10 ml (1-2 teaspoonfuls). Doses may be repeated every 4-6 hours when necessary, maximum 4 doses in 24 hours. Shake well before use.

Side effects

• Side effects of paracetamol are usually mild
• Skin rashes and other allergic reactions occur occasionally
• Hematological reactions reported rarely
• Liver damage with overdose

Precautions

• If fever persists for more than 3 days or recurs
• or if pain continues for more than 5 days
• consult a physician immediately
• Use with caution in patients with anaemia or with cardiac
• pulmonary
• renal or hepatic disease
• Hypersensitivity to paracetamol is a contraindication
• Do not take any other paracetamol
• containing medicines at the same time
• Keep medicine out of reach of children
• Store at a temperature below 30°C
