Indication
- Symptomatic treatment of dry, irritating (non-productive) cough - Short-term relief of bothersome cough in adults
Ingredients
- Codeine phosphate 19.5 mg
Direction
Take 1 tablet up to 3 times a day if needed, without exceeding the maximum daily dose; for short-term use only.
Side effects
- Drowsiness and sedation
- Constipation
- Nausea and vomiting
- Respiratory depression at high doses
Precautions
- Contraindicated in children under 12 years and during breastfeeding
- Avoid alcohol and other CNS depressants
- Risk of dependence
- do not use long
- term
- Use with caution in respiratory insufficiency
