Indication
- Relief of abdominal cramps and colicky pain - Irritable bowel syndrome - Bloating, flatulence and excess intestinal gas - Infant and adult functional gastrointestinal spasm
Ingredients
- Dicyclomine HCl 10 mg + Simethicone 40 mg per 5 mL
Direction
Take by mouth as directed, usually before meals; dose adjusted by age and prescriber. Shake the suspension well before use.
Side effects
- Dry mouth and thirst
- Blurred vision
- Dizziness or drowsiness
- Constipation
- Rapid heartbeat
Precautions
- Avoid in glaucoma
- severe ulcerative colitis and bowel obstruction
- Use caution in heart disease
- prostate enlargement and reflux
- Anticholinergic effects may impair driving
- avoid in very young infants unless prescribed
- Avoid alcohol and other sedatives
