Indication
- Loose (productive) cough with thick, viscid bronchial secretions - Acute bronchitis and bronchopulmonary congestion - Cough associated with the common cold or allergy
Ingredients
- Carbocisteine 100 mg / Promethazine HCl 2.5 mg per 5 mL
Direction
Shake well before use. Take orally as directed by a physician; dose depends on age and body weight.
Side effects
- Drowsiness and sedation
- Dry mouth
- Dizziness
- Nausea or gastrointestinal upset
Precautions
- Promethazine causes drowsiness
- avoid driving or operating machinery
- Avoid alcohol and other CNS depressants
- Use with caution in young children
- asthma and in those with peptic ulcer disease
