Indication
- Prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiency (scurvy) - Dietary supplementation to support immune function - Support for wound healing and collagen formation
Ingredients
- Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) 500 mg
Direction
Take one tablet daily by mouth, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
Side effects
- Nausea or stomach upset
- Diarrhoea with high doses
- Heartburn
Precautions
- Use with caution in people with kidney stones or a history of oxalate stones
- High doses may interfere with some laboratory tests
- Consult a doctor in cases of haemochromatosis or iron
- overload conditions
