TobraDex 3mg/1mg per ml

Indication

- Steroid-responsive ocular inflammation with risk of bacterial infection - Blepharitis and conjunctivitis - Keratitis and anterior segment inflammation - Postoperative ocular inflammation

Ingredients

• Tobramycin 3 mg/mL (0.3%) / Dexamethasone 1 mg/mL (0.1%)

Direction

Instill 1 to 2 drops into the conjunctival sac every 4 to 6 hours; during the first 24-48 hours dosing may be increased as directed. Shake well before use.

Side effects

• Eye irritation
• stinging or burning
• Eyelid itching and redness
• Increased intraocular pressure with prolonged use
• Blurred vision

Precautions

• For topical ophthalmic use only
• not for injection
• Prolonged use may raise intraocular pressure or cause cataract
• monitor pressure
• Avoid in viral
• fungal or mycobacterial eye infections
• Remove contact lenses before instillation
