Indication

- Acute bacterial diarrhea - Intestinal infections without systemic signs - Symptomatic treatment of colitis of infectious origin

Ingredients

• Nifuroxazide 200 mg/5 mL

Direction

Children and adults take orally as directed by a physician, typically several times daily for a short course. Shake well before use.

Side effects

• Mild abdominal pain
• Nausea
• Allergic skin reactions (rare)

Precautions

• Maintain rehydration (oral or IV) during diarrhea
• Not a substitute for rehydration therapy
• Do not use in patients allergic to nitrofuran derivatives
• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist beyond 3 days
