Indication

- Bacterial conjunctivitis - Corneal ulcers caused by susceptible bacteria - Other superficial bacterial eye infections

Ingredients

• Ciprofloxacin 0.3% (3 mg/mL) ophthalmic solution

Direction

Instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye every 2-4 hours, reducing frequency as the infection improves, as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Temporary eye burning or stinging
• White crystalline precipitate on the cornea
• Itching or redness of the eye
• Unpleasant taste after instillation

Precautions

• For topical ophthalmic use only
• do not inject
• Remove contact lenses before instillation
• Discontinue if hypersensitivity reaction occurs
• Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface
