Indication
- Symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea (with oral rehydration) - Chronic diarrhea - Pain associated with oesophageal, gastric and intestinal disorders
Ingredients
- Diosmectite 3 g per sachet
Direction
Dissolve the contents of each sachet in half a glass of water (or in food for infants) and take after meals. Adults typically take 3 sachets per day.
Side effects
- Constipation
- Bloating or flatulence
- Rarely
- allergic skin reactions
Precautions
- Take other medicines at least 2 hours apart
- as it may reduce their absorption
- Maintain oral rehydration
- especially in children and the elderly
- Consult a doctor if diarrhea persists beyond 2 days or with fever or blood in stool
