Vicks DayQuil Severe Honey Cold & Flu

Indication

- Temporary relief of common cold and flu symptoms - Relieves nasal and sinus congestion - Reduces cough due to throat and bronchial irritation - Eases minor aches, pains, headache and sore throat - Reduces fever and loosens phlegm

Ingredients

• Acetaminophen 325 mg
• dextromethorphan HBr 10 mg
• guaifenesin 200 mg
• phenylephrine HCl 5 mg (per 15 mL)

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: take 30 mL (2 tablespoons) every 4 hours. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours.

Side effects

• Nervousness
• dizziness or sleeplessness
• Nausea or stomach upset
• Increased blood pressure or rapid heartbeat
• Liver damage with overdose

Precautions

• Do not exceed recommended dose
• contains acetaminophen — risk of severe liver damage
• Do not use with other acetaminophen
• containing products or with alcohol
• Avoid in high blood pressure
• heart disease
• diabetes or thyroid disease without medical advice
• Do not use with or within 14 days of an MAOI
