Indication
- Monitoring blood uric acid levels - Management of gout - Hyperuricemia screening - Tracking effectiveness of uric acid-lowering therapy
Ingredients
- Uricase (Enzymatic Reagent) and Mediator compounds
Direction
Insert a fresh test strip into the compatible meter. Apply a small capillary blood sample to the reaction zone of the strip.
Side effects
- Minor pain at the puncture site
- Rare localized infection or bruising
Precautions
- For in vitro diagnostic use only
- Do not reuse test strips
- Use within expiration date
- Ensure meter is calibrated correctly
- Keep vial tightly closed after opening
