Indication
Corticosteroid for topical use. Applied to allergic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, eczema and other steroid-responsive skin disorders.
Ingredients
- Fluocinonide acetate 2.5 mg per 10 g tube (0.025% w/w)
Direction
Apply to the affected part of the body 2-3 times daily. The total amount used should not exceed 50 g weekly.
Side effects
- Burning
- itching
- dryness or stinging at the application site.
- Skin atrophy
- telangiectasia (dilated blood vessels)
- striae
- or hypopigmentation with prolonged use.
- Acne
- like eruptions
- folliculitis or perioral dermatitis.
- Allergic contact dermatitis
- stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if a reaction occurs.
Precautions
- For external use only.
- Long
- term use can cause skin atrophy and dilatation of blood capillaries.
- Do not exceed 50 g per week.
- Avoid use on the face
- broken skin
- or large body areas unless directed by a doctor.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- especially during pregnancy or in children
- and stop use if irritation or allergy occurs.
