Melamet Cream Hydroquinone USP 2.00% w/w, Tretinoin USP 0.025% w/w, Mometasone Furoate IP 0.10% w/w in a cream base

Indication

Triple-combination depigmenting cream for the short-term topical treatment of melasma (chloasma) of the face and other hyperpigmentation disorders responsive to skin-lightening therapy.

Ingredients

• Hydroquinone
• Tretinoin
• Mometasone Furoate

Direction

Apply to the affected area as directed by the physician, usually once daily in the evening. Avoid sunlight and use sunscreen during treatment.

Side effects

• Mild stinging to severe irritation may be reported when using this preparation.
• Occasional hypersensitivity (localised contact dermatitis) may develop.
• If hypersensitivity occurs
• discontinue the medication and consult a physician immediately.

Precautions

• For external use only.
• Schedule H prescription drug — not to be sold by retail without the prescription of a registered medical practitioner.
• Strict avoidance of direct sunlight is recommended
• exposure to sunlight or U.V. light may cause repigmentation of the bleached area.
• Not to be used during pregnancy.
• Avoid contact with eyes
