Indication
Second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections including respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, and ear infections.
Ingredients
- Cefuroxime Axetil USP eq. to Anhydrous Cefuroxime 500 mg per film coated tablet

Side effects
- Diarrhoea
- nausea
- vomiting
- abdominal pain.
- Headache
- dizziness.
- Skin rash
- pruritus.
- Eosinophilia
- transient liver enzyme elevation.
- Allergic reactions
- stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if a reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Prescription antibiotic
- use only under medical supervision.
- Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to cephalosporins or penicillins.
- Use with caution in patients with renal impairment or gastrointestinal disease.

- especially during pregnancy or breastfeeding
- and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
