Indication
Antifungal plus anti-inflammatory cream for fungal skin infections accompanied by inflammation or itching. Used for ringworm (tinea corporis), athlete's foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), nail fold infection, intertrigo of armpits and groin, and candidiasis such as Monilia vaginitis and Candida balanitis.
Ingredients
- Clotrimazole
- Betamethasone Valerate
Direction
Apply a thin layer to the infected and inflamed area 2–3 times daily, or as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Local burning
- irritation
- redness
- or itching at the application site may occur.
- Prolonged use of the betamethasone component may cause skin thinning or other corticosteroid effects.
- Discontinue and consult a doctor or pharmacist if irritation or allergic reaction develops.
Precautions
- For external use only.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
- Do not use for prolonged periods or on large body areas without medical supervision due to corticosteroid content.
- Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
