Indication
Broad-spectrum dermatoses: treatment of inflammatory skin conditions complicated by bacterial and/or fungal infection, including eczema, dermatitis, intertrigo, candidiasis, tinea (cruris, corporis, pedis) and seborrheic dermatitis.
Ingredients
- Betamethasone Dipropionate 0.64 mg per g
- Clotrimazole 10 mg per g
- Gentamicin Sulfate 1.0 mg per g
Direction
Apply a thin layer to the affected skin twice daily (morning and evening) or as directed by a physician. Refer to enclosed package leaflet for details.
Side effects
- Local burning
- itching
- irritation
- dryness or stinging at the application site.
- Skin atrophy
- telangiectasia
- striae
- hypopigmentation or hypertrichosis with prolonged use.
- Folliculitis
- acneiform eruptions or secondary infection.
- Rare allergic contact dermatitis to gentamicin or clotrimazole.
- If severe irritation or an allergic reaction occurs
- stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- Prescription drug
- use only under medical supervision.
- For external use only
- avoid contact with eyes
- mucous membranes and broken skin.
- Do not use on the face
- groin
- axillae or in young children for prolonged periods due to risk of skin atrophy and systemic absorption of corticosteroid.
- Do not use occlusive dressings unless directed by a doctor.
- Discontinue and consult a doctor or pharmacist if irritation
- sensitization or allergy occurs.
