Indication

Beta-2 adrenergic bronchodilator for the management of asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and other broncho-pulmonary disorders involving bronchospasm.

Ingredients

• Terbutaline sulphate

Direction

Shake well before use. Adults: 2.5 to 5 mg three times a day, up to 15 mg per 24 hours. Children 12-15 years: 2.5 mg three times a day. Children below 12 years: as directed by physician. For oral use.

Side effects

• May cause tremor
• palpitations
• headache
• nervousness
• muscle cramps
• or nausea. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or worsen
• and seek immediate care for irregular heartbeat or severe allergic reaction.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to terbutaline or any component. Inform your doctor of heart disease
• hypertension
• hyperthyroidism
• diabetes
• pregnancy
• or other medication. Stop and seek urgent care for severe palpitations
• chest pain
• or worsening breathing.
