Indication
Therapy in gastric and duodenal ulcer, gastritis, heartburn, and gastric hyperacidity. Helps reduce symptoms related to gastric hyperacidity such as stomach upset, nausea, flatulence, and heartburn.
Ingredients
- Aluminium Hydroxide Dried Gel 300 mg
- Magnesium Hydroxide 300 mg
- Simethicone 80 mg
Direction
Adults: 1-2 sachets, 3-4 times a day, shake before use. Children (6-12 years): 1 sachet, 3-4 times a day, shake before use. Take immediately once symptoms occur and repeat 30-60 minutes before or after meals and before bedtime.
Side effects
- Constipation
- diarrhoea
- nausea
- or vomiting may occur.
- Symptoms generally disappear after stopping the medicine.
- Stop use and seek medical advice if irritation
- allergy
- or other adverse reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Do not use in patients with serious kidney failure
- as it may cause hypermagnesia.
- Not recommended for treatment for more than 2 weeks unless recommended by a physician.
- Antacids may disturb the absorption of tetracycline
- cimetidine
- etc.
- allow a 1
- 2 hour gap between Pimag and these medicines.
- Not recommended for children under 6 years old.
- Not suitable for patients on a low
- phosphorus diet for long
- term use.
