Indication
Used to treat magnesium deficiency, whether isolated or associated with other deficiency states, which may present as nervousness, irritability, mild sleep disturbances, muscle cramps, fatigue, or tingling.
Ingredients
- Magnesium lactate dihydrate
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride
Direction
Usual dose for adults: 6 film-coated tablets per day in 3 divided doses, taken with meals. For children over 6 years: 4 tablets per day. Read the package leaflet before use or take as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- May cause mild gastrointestinal upset such as diarrhea or abdominal pain.
- High doses or prolonged use may lead to peripheral neuropathy due to vitamin B6.
- Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if irritation
- allergy
- or unusual symptoms occur.
Precautions
- Use only as directed
- do not exceed the recommended dose.
- Use with caution in patients with kidney impairment
- avoid in severe renal insufficiency.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant
- breastfeeding
- or taking other medicines
- including levodopa or tetracyclines.
