Indication

Triple-therapy kit for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection in the management of peptic ulcer disease.

Ingredients

• Omeprazole BP 20 mg (as enteric coated granules)
• 2 capsules
• Tinidazole BP 500 mg
• 2 tablets
• Clarithromycin USP 250 mg
• 2 tablets

Direction

Take one strip per day (1 omeprazole + 1 tinidazole + 1 clarithromycin) as prescribed by the physician. Refer to package insert for indication, dosage, administration, precaution, and contraindication.

Side effects

• May cause nausea
• metallic taste
• headache
• abdominal discomfort
• diarrhoea
• or transient liver enzyme elevation.
• Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if severe rash
• jaundice
• persistent diarrhoea
• or signs of an allergic reaction occur.

Precautions

• Prescription
• only medicine
• complete the full 7
• day course as prescribed.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use in hepatic or renal impairment
• cardiac arrhythmias
• or with other QT
• prolonging medicines.
• Avoid alcohol during treatment with tinidazole.
• Stop use and seek medical advice if irritation
• allergy
• severe diarrhoea
• or unusual symptoms occur.
