Indication
Anti-neuropathic pain and anti-convulsant medication used for the management of neuropathic pain and as adjunctive therapy for partial seizures in adults.
Ingredients
- Pregabalin
Direction
Take as directed by the physician. Swallow the capsule whole with water. Do not stop the medicine abruptly; the dose must be tapered as advised. See package insert for full prescribing information.
Side effects
- May cause dizziness
- drowsiness
- blurred vision
- weight gain
- peripheral oedema
- or dry mouth. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist
- seek urgent care for severe allergic reaction
- mood changes
- or breathing difficulty.
Precautions
- Do not use if allergic to pregabalin or any component. Inform your doctor of any kidney disease
- history of depression or suicidal thoughts
- heart conditions
- or other medications. Avoid alcohol and tasks requiring alertness until effect is known. Do not stop suddenly
- consult your doctor before discontinuing.
