Indication

Treatment of hypertension; treatment of chronic stable angina and vasospastic (Prinzmetal's) angina.

Ingredients

• Amlodipine Besilate

Direction

Adults: 5 mg once daily; may be increased to 10 mg once daily based on clinical response. Take with or without food, as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Headache
• peripheral oedema
• flushing
• palpitations
• or dizziness may occur.
• Fatigue
• nausea
• or gingival hyperplasia have been reported.
• Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if irritation
• allergy
• or any unusual symptom develops.

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with severe hepatic impairment
• severe hypotension
• or heart failure.
• Avoid use in pregnancy and breastfeeding unless prescribed by a doctor.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have any underlying medical condition or are taking other medications.
• Avoid concurrent use with grapefruit juice.
