Antadys 100 mg

Indication

Short-term treatment of primary dysmenorrhoea (painful menstruation) in adults and adolescents from 15 years of age.

Ingredients

• Flurbiprofen

Direction

Adults and adolescents from 15 years: 1 film-coated tablet (100 mg) up to three times a day, swallowed whole with water. Maximum 300 mg per day. Start at first sign of menstrual pain; not to exceed 5 days of use. Reserved for adults and adolescents from 15 years; do not use in pregnant women. Follow the package leaflet and a doctor or pharmacist's advice.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal discomfort

• abdominal pain.
• Headache
• dizziness
• drowsiness.
• Allergic reactions including rash
• itching or
• rarely
• severe skin reactions.
• Stop and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any unusual or severe reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use during pregnancy (especially from 6th month) or breastfeeding without medical advice.
• Use with caution in patients with history of gastric ulcer
• asthma
• kidney
• liver or heart disease.
• Avoid alcohol and do not combine with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants without medical advice.
