Indication
Short-term treatment of primary dysmenorrhoea (painful menstruation) in adults and adolescents from 15 years of age.
Ingredients
- Flurbiprofen
Direction
Adults and adolescents from 15 years: 1 film-coated tablet (100 mg) up to three times a day, swallowed whole with water. Maximum 300 mg per day. Start at first sign of menstrual pain; not to exceed 5 days of use. Reserved for adults and adolescents from 15 years; do not use in pregnant women. Follow the package leaflet and a doctor or pharmacist's advice.
Side effects
- Gastrointestinal discomfort
- nausea
- heartburn
- abdominal pain.
- Headache
- dizziness
- drowsiness.
- Allergic reactions including rash
- itching or
- rarely
- severe skin reactions.
- Stop and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any unusual or severe reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Do not use during pregnancy (especially from 6th month) or breastfeeding without medical advice.
- Use with caution in patients with history of gastric ulcer
- asthma
- kidney
- liver or heart disease.
- Avoid alcohol and do not combine with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants without medical advice.
- Read the package leaflet before use.

- stop and seek advice if irritation or allergy occurs.
