Indication
Treatment of systemic and severe superficial fungal infections, including chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis, when topical therapy is inadequate.
Ingredients
- Ketoconazole 200 mg
Direction
Take orally as prescribed by the physician.
Side effects
- May cause nausea
- vomiting
- abdominal pain
- headache
- rash
- or transient liver enzyme elevation.
- Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if jaundice
- dark urine
- severe rash
- or signs of an allergic reaction occur.
Precautions
- Prescription
- only medicine.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- especially in liver disease or with other hepatotoxic or QT
- prolonging medicines.
- Monitor liver function during treatment.
- Stop use and seek medical advice if irritation
- allergy
- jaundice
- or unusual symptoms occur.
