Calci Glubionat Kabi 687.5 mg per 5 mL

Indication

Treatment of acute hypocalcemia and as calcium supplementation when oral intake is not possible.

Ingredients

• Calcium Glubionate 687.5 mg (equivalent to 45 mg / 1.12 mmol Calcium) per 5 mL

Direction

For slow intravenous injection. Dosage and route as directed by the physician (refer to product leaflet).

Side effects

• Hot flushes
• sweating
• nausea
• vasodilation.
• Injection
• site reactions including phlebitis.
• Rare cardiac arrhythmias with rapid injection.
• Stop and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any unusual symptom occurs.

Precautions

• Administer only by or under medical supervision.
• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment
• hypercalcemia
• or those receiving digitalis.
• Inform your doctor or pharmacist of any medical conditions or other medications.

• swelling
• or allergic reaction occurs.
