Candazole Clotrimazole (Micronised) 1.0% w/v

Indication

Broad-spectrum antifungal lotion for the treatment of candidal and fungal skin infections including ringworm (tinea), pityriasis versicolor and superficial candidiasis.

Ingredients

• Clotrimazole

Direction

Wash and dry the affected area. Apply sparingly to the affected parts and surrounding skin and rub in twice daily, morning and evening. Refer to enclosed leaflet for more information.

Side effects

• Local burning
• stinging or irritation at the application site.
• Erythema
• peeling or itching of treated skin.
• Rare allergic contact dermatitis
• stop use and consult a healthcare professional.

Precautions

• For external use only. Not suitable for ophthalmic use.
• Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
• Consult a doctor if no improvement is seen after 2
• 4 weeks of treatment.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use during pregnancy
• breastfeeding or for young children.
• Discontinue use if skin irritation
• burning or allergic reaction develops.
