Indication
Respiratory tract infections, ENT and bronchopulmonary infections, urinary tract infections, gynaecological and obstetric infections, skin and joint infections, gonorrhoea and syphilis when penicillin is not suitable.
Ingredients
- Cephalexin
Direction
Adults and children over 12 years: 500 mg three times daily. Children 5 to 12 years: 250 mg three times daily. Use only as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- May include nausea
- diarrhoea
- abdominal discomfort or skin rash. Stop use and consult a doctor if irritation
- severe rash
- or allergic symptoms appear.
Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Avoid if allergic to cephalosporins or penicillins. Stop immediately and seek medical advice if any allergic reaction occurs.
