Indication

Improvement of gastric hyperplasia, stomach and duodenal ulcer, gastric mucosal lesions (erosion, bleeding, redness, oedema) in acute gastritis and acute exacerbation of chronic gastritis. Also used for reflux oesophagitis.

Ingredients

• Sucralfate

Direction

Adult: usual dose is 1 g (15 ml) three times daily, taken 1 hour before meals. For gastro-oesophageal reflux: 1 g (15 ml) four times daily, 1 hour before meals and at bedtime. Dose may be adjusted by age and symptoms.

Side effects

• May cause constipation
