Hydrogen Peroxide 3%

Indication

Hydrogen peroxide 3% antiseptic solution for external use only. Used for cleaning minor wounds, cuts, and abrasions, and as a mouth rinse for oral cleansing under medical advice.

Ingredients

• Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) 3%

Direction

For wound cleansing: apply directly to the wound and surrounding skin; allow effervescence to lift debris, then rinse with clean water or saline. Cover with a sterile dressing if needed. For oral use: dilute with water as directed by a doctor or pharmacist before rinsing. Do not swallow.

Side effects

• May cause transient stinging
• redness
• or bleaching of the skin at the application site. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if irritation or allergic reaction develops or persists.

Precautions

• External use only. Do not swallow. Avoid contact with eyes
• if contact occurs
