Indication

Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections including urinary tract infections, respiratory infections, and infections due to Pneumocystis carinii. Prescription-only medicine.

Ingredients

• Sulfamethoxazole
• Trimethoprim

Direction

Oral route. One scored tablet, twice daily, as directed by the physician. Read the package leaflet before use.

• or allergic reactions. Stop use and consult a doctor if irritation

• or allergic symptoms appear.

Precautions

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Do not use during pregnancy unless no therapeutic alternative is available. Avoid in case of allergy to sulfonamides. Stop immediately and seek medical advice if any allergic reaction occurs.
