Indication

Traditional herbal laxative for the symptomatic relief of occasional constipation.

Ingredients

• Sennae fructus extract (Senna fruit)
• Aloe vera folium extract
• Foeniculi semen extract (Fennel seed)

Direction

Adults: take 1 to 2 capsules at bedtime with a glass of water, or as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. Effect usually occurs 6 to 12 hours after intake. Not for prolonged daily use.

Side effects

• Abdominal cramps
• gripping pain
• nausea
• or diarrhea may occur
• especially with higher doses.
• Prolonged use may cause electrolyte disturbances
• dependence
• or melanosis coli.
• Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or unexpected reactions occur.

Precautions

• Do not use in cases of intestinal obstruction
• severe abdominal pain of unknown cause
• appendicitis
• inflammatory bowel disease
• or severe dehydration.
• Not recommended during pregnancy
• breastfeeding
• or for children under 12 years unless directed by a doctor.
• Avoid prolonged use (more than 1 to 2 weeks) without medical supervision
• as it may lead to dependence and electrolyte imbalance.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist if constipation persists or worsens.
