Indication
Combination analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory tablet indicated for short-term symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation in conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, low back pain, dental pain, post-operative pain and other musculoskeletal disorders.
Ingredients
- Aceclofenac BP 100 mg
- Paracetamol BP 500 mg
Direction
As directed by the physician.
Side effects
- Gastrointestinal upset
- nausea
- vomiting
- abdominal pain
- dyspepsia
- diarrhea or constipation may occur.
- Headache
- dizziness
- drowsiness or skin rash.
- Rare but serious: gastrointestinal bleeding
- peptic ulceration
- hepatic dysfunction
- renal impairment or severe allergic reactions.
- Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist immediately if signs of GI bleeding
- jaundice or severe allergic reaction occur.
Precautions
- To be sold on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.
- Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration to minimize side effects.
- Not recommended in pregnancy (especially third trimester)
- breastfeeding
- active peptic ulcer or severe hepatic
- renal or cardiac impairment unless directed by a doctor.
- Inform your doctor if you have a history of gastrointestinal bleeding
- asthma
- high blood pressure or are taking other NSAIDs
- anticoagulants or methotrexate.
- Avoid concurrent use with other paracetamol
- containing products to prevent overdose.
- Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if abdominal pain
- black stools
- skin rash
- swelling or jaundice occurs.
