Safe 72 1.5 mg

Indication

Emergency contraceptive indicated to prevent pregnancy after unprotected intercourse or contraceptive failure. To be taken as soon as possible, preferably within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.

Ingredients

• Levonorgestrel

Direction

Take one 1.5 mg tablet by mouth as a single dose as soon as possible, preferably within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse. Refer to the enclosed leaflet for more information.

Side effects

• May cause nausea
• abdominal pain
• fatigue
• headache
• dizziness
• breast tenderness
• or menstrual changes.
• Vomiting and irregular bleeding can occur.
• If any irritation or allergic reaction occurs
• stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Safe 72 should not be used as a substitute for a condom or any other regular contraceptive method.
• Safe 72 does not prevent the transmission of sexually transmitted diseases or HIV/AIDS.
• Not for repeated use within the same menstrual cycle.
• If vomiting occurs within 2 hours of taking the tablet
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.
• If any irritation or allergic reaction occurs
• stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
