Indication
- Hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol) - Cardiovascular disease prevention - Hypertriglyceridemia - Slowing progression of atherosclerosis
Ingredients
- Rosuvastatin
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily at any time of day, with or without food. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day.
Side effects
- Muscle pain (myalgia)
- Headache
- Nausea
- Abdominal pain
- Dizziness
- Generalized weakness
Precautions
- Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Avoid in patients with active liver disease
- Risk of myopathy and rhabdomyolysis
- Monitor liver enzymes regularly
- Limit alcohol consumption during treatment
