Promethazine Sirop 5 mg / 5 ml

Indication

Symptomatic relief of various allergic conditions such as rhinitis (hay fever, runny nose, tickling), conjunctivitis (smarting), and skin allergy (insect bites, pruritus, erythema, urticaria).

Ingredients

• Promethazine hydrochloride 5 mg per 5 ml (0.1%)

Direction

Child 2-5 years: 5 ml, 3 times per day. Child 5-12 years: 5 to 10 ml, 2 to 3 times per day; do not exceed 25 ml per day. Child over 12 years: 10 to 20 ml, up to 4 times per day; do not exceed 50 ml per day. Adult: 20 ml, 4 to 5 times per day.

Side effects

Precautions

• Do not drive or use machinery before reading the package leaflet
• may cause drowsiness.
• Avoid in children under 2 years.
• Use with caution in patients with asthma
• glaucoma
• or urinary retention.
• Do not combine with other CNS depressants or alcohol.
