Woods' Peppermint Antitussive Per 5 mL: Dextromethorphan HBr 7.5 mg, Diphenhydramine HCl 12.5 mg (100 mL)

Indication

Non-productive (dry) cough due to allergy, plus antihistamine.

Ingredients

• Dextromethorphan hydrobromide
• Diphenhydramine hydrochloride

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 teaspoonful (5 mL) 3 times a day. Children 6-12 years: 1/2 teaspoonful (2.5 mL) 3 times a day. Shake well before use.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• dizziness and constipation may occur. Vomiting may also occur. Stop use and seek medical advice if any adverse reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Hypersensitive patients should not take this product. Do not drive or operate machinery while using the medicine. Not recommended in productive cough or for children under 6 years. Contraindicated in patients with bronchial asthma and respiratory failure. Consult a doctor for use beyond a few days
