Indication
Non-productive (dry) cough due to allergy, plus antihistamine.
Ingredients
- Dextromethorphan hydrobromide
- Diphenhydramine hydrochloride
Direction
Adults and children over 12 years: 1 teaspoonful (5 mL) 3 times a day. Children 6-12 years: 1/2 teaspoonful (2.5 mL) 3 times a day. Shake well before use.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- dizziness and constipation may occur. Vomiting may also occur. Stop use and seek medical advice if any adverse reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Hypersensitive patients should not take this product. Do not drive or operate machinery while using the medicine. Not recommended in productive cough or for children under 6 years. Contraindicated in patients with bronchial asthma and respiratory failure. Consult a doctor for use beyond a few days
- in pregnancy or lactation
- or with MAO inhibitors.
