Indication
- Short-term treatment of dry cough - Treatment of non-productive irritating cough - Symptomatic relief of cough symptoms
Ingredients
- Codeine Phosphate
Direction
Take orally with a glass of water or measure syrup dose. Usually 1-2 tablets or 1-2 tablespoons every 6 hours as needed, not exceeding 4 doses daily.
Side effects
- Constipation
- Drowsiness
- Dizziness
- Nausea or vomiting
- Respiratory depression in high doses
- Urinary retention
Precautions
- Risk of opioid addiction and dependence
- Contraindicated in severe respiratory failure
- Do not use during breastfeeding
- Avoid alcohol during treatment
- May cause drowsiness
- caution while driving
- Contraindicated in children under 12 years
