Indication
- Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) - Goiter treatment and prevention - Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) suppression - Management of thyroid cancer
Ingredients
- Levothyroxine Sodium
Direction
Take orally once daily on an empty stomach, at least 30 to 60 minutes before breakfast. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Side effects
- Heart palpitations or tachycardia
- Nervousness or tremors
- Insomnia
- Heat intolerance
- Excessive sweating
- Weight loss
Precautions
- Not for weight loss treatment
- Monitor thyroid function (TSH) regularly
- Caution in patients with cardiovascular disease
- Separate from calcium or iron supplements
- Dose adjustment required during pregnancy
