Indication

Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers and chronic gastritis; protects the ulcer site by forming a barrier over the mucosa.

Ingredients

• Sucralfate 1 g

Direction

Usually one sachet (15 ml, 1 g) taken on an empty stomach, typically four times daily, or as directed by a physician. Shake well before use.

Side effects

• Constipation may occur
• less commonly dry mouth
• nausea or indigestion. Stop use and seek medical advice if any adverse reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Take other medicines at a separate time as sucralfate may reduce their absorption. Use with caution in kidney impairment. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist.
