Fenoget 200 mg

Indication

Used together with diet to lower high levels of cholesterol and triglycerides (fats) in the blood, helping to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Ingredients

• Fenofibrate (micronized) 200 mg

Direction

Take one capsule by mouth once daily with a meal, or as directed by a physician. Swallow whole with water.

Side effects

• Stomach upset
• nausea or diarrhoea
• Headache
• Muscle pain or weakness
• Increased liver enzymes
• Increased risk of gallstones with long
• term use

Precautions

• Report any unexplained muscle pain
• tenderness or weakness to your doctor promptly
• especially if combined with a statin
• Tell your doctor if you have liver
• kidney or gallbladder problems before use
• Periodic blood tests for liver function and lipids may be required
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop if irritation or allergy occurs
