Indication

PIMAG Premium is indicated for the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcer, gastritis, heartburn and gastric hyperacidity, including associated stomach upset, nausea, flatulence and heartburn.

Ingredients

• Aluminium Hydroxide Dried Gel 600 mg
• Magnesium Hydroxide 600 mg
• Simethicone 160 mg

Direction

Adults: 1 sachet 3 times a day. Shake well before use. Take immediately once symptoms occur and repeat 30-60 minutes before or after meals and before bedtime.

Side effects

• May cause constipation
• May cause diarrhea
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Symptoms generally disappear after stopping the medicine

Precautions

• Do not use in patients with serious kidney failure as it may cause hypermagnesemia
• Not recommended for treatment longer than 2 weeks unless recommended by a physician
• as it may cause dependence of gastric function
• Antacids may disturb the absorption of tetracycline and cimetidine
• allow a 1
• 2 hour gap between taking antacids and other drugs
• Not suitable for patients on a low phosphorus diet or long
• term use
• since antacids lower phosphorus levels in blood
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop if irritation or allergy occurs
