Indication
- Bronchial asthma - Chronic bronchitis - Pulmonary emphysema - Relief of reversible bronchospasm
Ingredients
- Theophylline
- Ephedrine Hydrochloride
- and Hydroxyzine Hydrochloride
Direction
Take orally three to four times daily. Best taken with or after food to minimize gastric irritation.
Side effects
- Heart palpitations
- Insomnia or restlessness
- Nausea and gastric irritation
- Dizziness and drowsiness
- Nervousness and tremors
Precautions
- Avoid in patients with hypertension
- Caution with coronary artery disease
- May cause significant drowsiness
- Avoid alcohol and other sedatives
- Use with caution in hyperthyroidism
- Monitor in patients with glaucoma
