Zecid 40 mg

Indication

Proton pump inhibitor used for the treatment of conditions associated with excess gastric acid, such as peptic ulcer and gastroesophageal reflux, when oral therapy is not appropriate.

Ingredients

• Omeprazole sodium B.P. (equivalent to omeprazole 40 mg)

Direction

For intravenous use only. As directed by the physician. To reconstitute, add 10 ml of sterile water for injection to make a solution containing 40 mg/10 ml of omeprazole. Use the reconstituted solution immediately.

Side effects

• May cause headache
• nausea
• abdominal pain
• or diarrhea. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use the reconstituted solution if it contains visible particulate matter. Use immediately after reconstitution. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
