Indication
Used to induce or strengthen labor contractions during childbirth and to control bleeding after delivery.
Ingredients
- Oxytocin 10 IU
Direction
For I.M. or slow I.V. injection. Dose to be determined by a physician.
Side effects
- May cause nausea
- vomiting
- rapid heartbeat
- or changes in blood pressure.
Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- stop if irritation or allergy occurs. To be administered only by trained medical personnel.
