Indication
Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and chronic stable angina pectoris. Used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events in patients with coronary artery disease.
Ingredients
- Amlodipine Besilate BP equivalent to Amlodipine 5 mg
Direction
Dosage as directed by the physician. Take orally once daily.
Side effects
- Peripheral edema (swelling of ankles/feet)
- Headache
- Flushing
- Dizziness
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any side effect persists or worsens.
Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- especially if pregnant
- breastfeeding
- or taking other medicines.
- Stop if signs of allergic reaction occur and seek medical attention.
- Use with caution in patients with severe hepatic impairment or heart failure.
- Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
